SUPERIOR INTERIOR CAFE: GRAF
Ever gone to the National Museum of Art in Nakanoshima, Osaka and gotten a bit peckish after checking out an exhibition? It used to happen to me all the time, but now I know where to go for a coffee, Mino Beer, or a filling seasonal lunch: GRAF.
GRAF is a combination of cafe, 'zakka' (general goods), and furniture store.
Featuring Japan-made crafts, food products and furniture, you can browse around the shop while waiting for your order.
Canelé, so in right now.
You'd think we are in France with all these canelés.
There is a giant shared table, but also some smaller two-person tables.
Seasonal flower arrangements are a nice touch and displayed throughout the building.
Simplicity and organization at it's finest.
Graf also has events and exhibitions. When I visited, there was a bromeliad book release with a showroom of bizarre plants and air plants for sale!
