Miyazaki Trip: Day I

We escaped Osaka to Miyazaki, where the last few days of summer lingered.

 The cries of cicadas had not died out yet.

 A few petals clung to the lotus pods.

 Shadows and reflections on the pond.

 Replicas of old buildings from the Jomon Period reminded us of our roots.

The car GPS took us deep into the forest. 

We could not enjoy the sunset on the ocean like we planned, but isn't that how it goes sometimes?
