お盆休み: Shikoku Karusto

Despite the rain, thunder, flooding roads and fog, we decided to keep to our plan and drive up the mountain to our destination, Shikoku Karusto.

Upon arriving at the mountain top, our car was enveloped in a thick fog.

The mist-like fog transformed the cow pasture into a dream-like wonderland.

A bog was discovered underfoot, our shoes unfortunately soaked.

A wild strawberry was noticed floating in a small ditch of fresh flowing water.

A couple cows were finally found in a field by the road

A brown cow wandered past.

Damp and cold from the mist, we returned to the car and drove back down the mountain.
